An Olympic Legacy Club & Wirral Sports Club of the Year 2014
AcroNova Gymnastics Club is a friendly and ambitious club dedicated to providing your child with skills for life through the exciting sport of gymnastics. We specialise in sports acrobatics and after many months of fund-raising and hard work, we were able to move into our own state-of-the-art premises in September 2016 representing an exciting new phase for the club. We have also been recognised as an olympic legacy club thanks to successful Sports England funding bids.
At present, we have a number of driven and enthusiatic coaches ready to help develop your child's strength, flexibility, balance, co-ordination and self-esteem and the gymnastic environment itself will also enhance their social and teamwork skills. All coaches and club associates are fully qualified and we can also boast GymMark and ClubMark accreditation as an acknowledgement of the quality running of the club. As such, you can rest assured that your child is getting active, making friends and having fun in a safe and welfare-focused environment.
We provide a variety of classes suited to various ages and abilities and are especially proud of our mixed disability class. Our coaches are committed to continuous professional development which helps to ensure your child's gymnastics career is characterized by professionalism and best practice and our squad system provides a means for your child to set themselves the challenge of progressing through the competitive levels of gymnastics in order to achieve their full potential.

Acrobatics is a competitive partner sport combining the strength and flexibility of gymnastics with the artistic expression of dance. Gymnasts work in harmony with each other to produce intricate balances and exciting dynamic elements, all incorporated into a routine performed to music that also encompasses spectacular tumbling and additional individual elements. There are five main partnership combinations that can be entered into competition: mens pair, womens pair, mixed pair, womens group (3 gymnasts) and mens group (4 gymnasts). Beginners would normally start competing at low-low regional competitions and can progress through to high national levels. The sport is also performed at international level with Great Britain having achieved success at both World and European level.
